The book is written like one of his poems, full of imagery. Reading books like this transports the reader into another time and place. Written as reminiscences, the story of Tagore's life unfolds itself before the reader in its many hues and colors. A wonderful book highly recommended for anyone interested in understanding the roots of Tagore's genius.
